Soil remediation of polluted sites - objectives 2036

One of the important objectives of the soil policy is to have started the remediation of all historical soil contamination by 2036.

According to estimates, there are more than 80,000 risk sites, of which about 40,000 have been examined to date. Mandatory soil investigation for risk sites is the instrument for reaching this target. The outline and timing of the instruments required to reach the 2036 goal are included in a new version of the Soil Decree of 2018.
