Cmartlife

Cmartlife is our LIFE Integrated Project for a Circular Material Approach on Residual waste Targets and a Litter Free Environment.

Circular Economy Office (CEO) project

The main objective of the Circular Economy Office (CEO) project (2023-2026) is to scale up circular strategies and thereby mainstream the practice of circular office environments.

LIFE NARMENA

Cleaning rivers and their sediments using nature-based solutions. The NARMENA project for Nature-based Remediation of Metal pollutants in Nature Areas to increase water storage capacity contributes to the remediation of contaminated soil and sediments in rivers and on floodplains.

REMADYL

REMADYL proposes a new technique to remove hazardous substances from PVC, demonstrating the circular use of PVC for window profiles and waterproofing sheets, and providing a flagship example for the circular economy.

RESANAT

Nature-based solutions for remnant soil pollution at remediation sites. RESANAT enables Flanders and The Netherlands to work together to promote and enhance nature-based soil remediation of PAHs and other oil-derived contaminants.

LIVES

The Litter Free Rivers and Streams (LIVES) project aims at preventing and collecting litter in the cross-boundary River Meuse Catchment, together with partners from knowledge institutes and authorities.

CREAToR

A Europe-wide consortium that aims to create a circular economy by removing hazardous flame retardants from plastic waste and reusing the purified material in high-value applications.

REGENERATIS

Critical raw materials and other valuable resources can be extracted from landfills and former metallurgy sites using innovative techniques.

ProCirc

ProCirc partners aim to define a toolbox for circular procurement and establish a set of minimal requirements and a roadmap for cross-boundary implementation.

ICEBERG

In this Horizon2020 project on Circular Economy of Building Materials, 35 partners are looking for innovative circular economy based solutions that demonstrate efficient recovery of valuable material resources from the generation of representative end-of-life building materials.

PARC

PARC is the new European partnership for the risk assessment of PFAS and other endocrine disruptors, launched in 2022.

RegioGreenTex

Regions for Green Textiles – known as RegioGreenTex – is a quadruple-helix partnership initiative aiming at mapping and reducing the difficulties, which currently exist in the implementation of a circular economy model within the textile ecosystem across the EU.

KARMA

Flanders Circular / OVAM is partner in this Interreg Europe project KARMA that aims to gain insights and develop methodologies and policy instruments through exchanges with regional partners, specifically looking for synergies of the Local Energy and Climate Pact (as an elaboration of European commitments and the Flemish Energy and Climate Plan) on the one hand, and a growing potential of circular strategies in the field of building, producing and consuming on the other hand.
